Air France KLM has slashed the mileage cost for dozens of reward flights by 25%. The Flying Blue loyalty program's October 2026 Promo Rewards list is now live, offering the discounts for bookings made by the end of this month.
A Promo Rewards business class award from Europe to Mexico City now costs 45,000 miles. This is a significant drop from the standard 60,000-mile fare for that transatlantic route. The promotion covers 54 select routes across economy, premium economy, and business class. Eligible destinations include Beijing, Miami, Seattle, and Rome. Some long-haul options like Chicago-Shanghai and New York-Mauritius are also part of the deal.
Eligibility and membership requirements
The 25% discount applies only to specific fare classes on each route. Not all members get equal access. Sixteen of the promoted deals require a paid Flying Blue Extra subscription, which costs €379 per year. This tier provides access to additional Promo Rewards availability, particularly for North American routes.
Flying Blue Platinum members receive standard fare perks automatically. These include lounge access and more flexibility on Promo Rewards tickets. For other members, the value of paying for the Extra tier must be calculated. Paying the fee may pay off for travelers planning multiple business class trips. Casual travelers might not recoup the cost. Members should compare the mile savings against the Extra subscription fee to determine net value.

Children aged two to twelve receive a 25% discount on Flying Blue award tickets. This applies to Promo Rewards as well. The lowest priced awards are bookable through March 31, 2027, though extra availability for Platinum members may not be included in all offers.
Travel window and booking deadlines
Bookings must be made by October 31, 2026. Travel is valid for flights taken between October 1, 2026, and March 31, 2027. This extended travel window provides flexibility for planning trips well into next year. Redeeming fewer miles means more award seats are within reach before any future award pricing changes take effect. The promotion also includes business class options to South America and other destinations outside North America.
All bookings must be completed by October 31, 2026, for travel until March 31, 2027.
