Atmos Rewards Summit Card Offers Free Points
The Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite Card allows its primary cardholder to share points freely with up to 10 other Atmos Rewards members, a feature that waives the standard $10 per 1,000 points fee.

The Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite Credit Card, which carries a $395 annual fee, includes a unique perk: free points sharing. This feature allows the primary cardholder to create a network for transferring Atmos Rewards points without the standard fee.
The standard Atmos Rewards program charges members $10 for every 1,000 points they wish to share with another account. The Summit Card waives this cost entirely for its holders.
How The Free Sharing Feature Works
The primary cardmember on the Atmos Rewards Summit Card can establish a points sharing network with up to ten other Atmos Rewards members. It does not matter if those other members hold the premium card. This is a sharing arrangement, not a pooling system.
The feature typically becomes active about one day after the cardholder is approved for the Summit Card. The primary cardmember manages the network and must be the one to send invitations. Once linked, points transfers can go in either direction: from the cardholder to others, or from others to the cardholder.
There are specific rules governing the network. Each Atmos Rewards member can only belong to one sharing network at a time. An invited member can leave a network at any time, but the primary cardholder can only designate one person for each of the ten slots every 365 days. Once someone accepts an invitation, they are locked into that network for 365 days. If the primary cardmember closes the Summit Card, all sharing connections end.
| Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
| Network Size | Up to 10 other members |
| Transfer Cost | Free for Summit cardholders (normally $10/1,000 points) |
| Transfer Direction | Bidirectional |
| Point Limits | No minimum or maximum |
| Member Lock-in Period | - 365 days after accepting invite |
Setting Up And Using Points Sharing
To use the benefit, cardholders must log into their Atmos Rewards account and navigate to the 'Account overview' page. After scrolling to the 'Rewards' section, those with the Summit Card should see a 'Card Benefits' area with a 'Free points sharing' button.
Clicking this leads to a page where the cardholder can send invites. They need the first name, last name, and Atmos Rewards number of the person they wish to add. The invitee receives an email and must click 'Accept invitation,' then log into their own Atmos Rewards account to finalize the connection.
A practical tip suggests it potentially makes the process easier if you're already logged into the account of the person accepting the invitation. It also warns not to be logged into the cardholder's account when someone else is accepting, to avoid confusing the system.
Once accounts are linked, the person initiating the transfer must click the 'Share points' button for the connected member, choose the amount, and confirm. Points should be available immediately in the recipient's account, and a notification email is sent.
The Value For Travelers
The free points sharing is called a smart premium card feature. Its execution is praised due to its ease, the lack of transfer limits, and the bidirectional capability.
This feature is presented as particularly valuable for families or groups traveling together. It allows them to consolidate points earned from multiple travelers into a single account, helping them reach reward goals faster. One personal example shared is moving a family member's 40,000 points over to the cardholder's account.
An additional benefit is that Summit Card holders get a waiver on the $20 partner award booking fee. Therefore, moving points from a non-cardmember's account to a cardmember's account can save $20 per award booking on partner airline travel.
The feature is positioned as a major incentive for families to fly with Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, or other Atmos Rewards partners.
